On Monday 17th November, Optimism moved into new studio space at the spectacular Royal Victoria Patriotic Building in Wandsworth.
Behind the doors of Studio 3, you'll find the same creative and thoughtful Optimism team. But we're re-invigorated by the move - and by our fresh new look, reflected in our new web site.
We've also attracted a brilliant full-time copywriter to work alongside us. Plus, like our namesake the Victoria & Albert, we now have a rather nice restaurant attached and we'd be happy to stand you a drink or coffee in their cosy bar.
We know how hard it is to make people engage with something they don't want to read. Take former prisoners and their families for example; they're a notoriously difficult audience to get through to - but we cracked it. Optimism have been working with POPS (Partners of Prisoners) to produce new communication materials for prisoners and their families. Our solution combined contemporary graphics whilst placing individuals and families centre stage. This made the materials highly accessible - and our client reports that the audiences received them enthusiastically.
When you're going out with a message that has 'world class' in the headline, you need to know your marketing materials will stand up to scrutiny. We have been working with COI publications to help produce the launch graphics for the NHS' new initiative World Class Commissioning. The designs are human and accessible. In featuring the people who work 'at shop floor level' throughout the NHS, it encourages 'buy-in' from a large and diverse audience of NHS professionals.
