Creating a brand that stimulates young minds

The client:

PeaceMaker, an Oldham based cultural diversity and training voluntary organisation.

The brief:

To create a dynamic and captivating brand for a range of educational training materials aimed at Key Stage 2 students.

Our solution:

We worked closely withthe PeaceMaker team to get under theskin of the 'Tell it like it is' programme. Our expertise enabled us to create a fresh and exciting brand that would help a young audience to gain a valuable understanding of today's diverse cultural environment. The brand design ensures that the two day educational courses are lively events, and the design has beenused to drive many training activities.

Optimism produced a range of materials for the programme including an activityand student handbooks and a storybook containing tales from a diverse range of cultures. We also produced a presentation specifically for teachers (PowerPoint format), for use throughout the two day course, as well as various branded promotional items such as bags and pencil cases that are handed to the students on completion of the course.
